• Hi there,

    with google pagespeed insights I got inly one error caused by autoptimiz:

    Enable compression
    Compressing resources with gzip or deflate can reduce the number of bytes sent over the network.
    Enable compression for the following resources to reduce their transfer size by 78.1KiB (65% reduction).

    /autoptmize_521062dbb92d91c3dae99b16103ec1b3.js could save 78.1KiB (65% reduction).

    gzip and deflate are enabled at my server.

    Any idea how to handle this?

    Thanks
    Joachim

    hey @joeydrums;
    AO has a .htaccess file in wp-content/cache/autoptimize which tells Apache to gzip/ deflate the CSS/ JS. If that does not work (because you’re not on Apache or because of Apache config conflicting or …), you can disable the “static delivery”-option on the AO settings screen.

    hope this helps,
    frank
