    I’m sorry that you’ve had a negative experience with BD here. While we’d like to be the perfect fit for everyone, that isn’t always the case.

    Addons are over priced, and to add insult to injury, there is an annual charge of 25% of the initial cost to keep them working

    Yes, this is becoming standard practice among sustainable plugins and themes in the WordPress space. We are among many major plugins such as Easy Digital Downloads, Gravity Forms, Ninja Forms and WP DB Migrate Pro that are trying to run a business from the plugin that allows us to support and develop the plugin over time, rather than flame out as over 60% of the plugins in the repository already do today. Providing updates to everyone, especially when you have a substantial customer base, can’t be done for free, unfortunately. Being free or low-priced unfortunately means we can’t support ourselves and ultimately, you in the end.

    The listing upgrade process is needlessly convoluted, and inexplicably, upgrades are a one-time charge.

    We have a coming release 5.0 that makes the Listing Submit a smooth, one-screen, highly simplified process–one where you can have fees and categories mixed the way you want. We hear what you’re saying and we’ve been working on this a long time. Naturally, we don’t want to release buggy and unreliable software on people so we have had an extended beta release for this to make sure it’s ready for prime time.

    If you would like to get an early access copy of the 5.0 release, we’d be happy to share it with you. Our plan is to release it publicly by August at this point.
