lost all my images

  • I just updated to 4.8 today and noticed suddenly all my images are gone.
    PLEASE HELP…
    My Media Library shows little generic squares and their description in text, ie IMG_4150.jpg, notfitin.jpg
    448 × 318, FullSizeRender.jpg but there are no images.
    And when I go to Upload Flies (select files) the images aren’t there either.
    Does anyone know how I can get them back???

  • Can you check your server using FTP or Cpanel to confirm if the uploads folder exists under wp-content and that it holds the media files?
