Slide Show on Category page

    I’m using MH Magazine lite 2.6.6
    I really like it – however I’d like to have the Slider widget on Category landing pages too. Is this possible? And if so, do need to upgrade to the premium on to do it?

    thanks for using MH Magazine lite and we’re happy that you like the theme.

    Displaying a slider on category archives isn’t possible out of the box (also not with premium). You either would need to code a custom child theme with that functionality or you could do some research if there possibly are plugins that can do this.

    Also keep in mind that using sliders isn’t always recommended and should be kept to a minimum. Here you can find more information: Why sliders aren’t as great as most people think.

    The premium version of MH Magazine includes several different layouts for archives to choose from. Some of these can be seen in the theme demos.

    You can’t place widgets on category archives other than within the sidebar.
