Loading Slowly – Admin Side

    Hi there I am maintaining a website and the table I have imported is loading extremely slowly on the administrator side. I need to delete an extra column, but can’t get it deleted because the table won’t load to get to the bottom to delete it.

    thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

    Yeah, the experience of editing large tables is bad at the moment, I agree ?? The reason simply is that the web browsers have problems managing the vast number of input fields in large tables.
    But there are good news: I’m already working on a redesigned “Edit” screen that will work much better and faster with large tables. Unfortunately, as this is not trivial, and as I’m very busy at the moment, this will still take some time.

    In the mean time, you could try a different browser (Internet Explorer has – for some users and surprisingly – been the fastest here).
    The only other option is to manage and maintain the table offline, e.g. in Excel, and after modifying saving it to a CSV file. Then, import that CSV file into TablePress, choosing to replace the existing version.
