Show Private Posts to Users Logged In

  • Hello,

    I have some posts I only want visible to users that are logged in. I thought changing the post to Private would fix this but it does not. The post will only be visible if the user has the direct link to the post it seems? And the post will not shown in blog loop even when the user is logged in.

    Basically I want it so that it only appears on the site if you are logged in. How could I get this functionality?

  • I would change all roles to have the permission “Read private posts”. By default, a role like subscriber doesn’t have this permission.

    My problem is that no role has the permission to see a private post in the blog list. The only way you can view the post is if you are given the direct link to the post. I need it so that it shows in the blog list but only to logged in Users.
