• The plugin appeared to help some postings meet the Facebook criteria for awhile, but seemed to stop helping a few days after activation. We also noticed that with the plugin activated, the author tag would be left out of the Facebook post.

UPDATE: we’ve re-enabled the plugin, and it helps OG image appear consistently, however, the Facebook description is being pulled from the wrong window, and is always cut short when showing on Facebook.

UPDATE: from the Facebook debug tool
    “Extraneous properties specified”
“The following properties are specified on the webpage but NOT supported for the specified ‘og:type’: article:publisher, article:section, article:published_time, article:modified_time, article:author, profile:first_name, profile:last_name, profile:username”
