Billing phone is a required field error

I post this again as the original thread “billing address” is marked as resolved while it is not, at least as far as billing phone is concerned.

Since 1.4.0, my clients receive a “phone number is a required field” message when checking out. This option has been added in version 1.4.0 but it not activated in my settings. Moreover, the clients do have a phone number. So this is a double faulty condition bug.

Thanks for investigating this as the plug in is not usable any longer. It worked flawlessly before.
