@andreabrundo, it looks like the Readability Analysis option is disabled on the plugin settings so they appeared invisible on the pages and posts.

You should enable these options from plugin settings to get it working. Here is the link to our KB article for detail walkthrough about these process:

    Hi,
I have exactly the same problem !

@suascat_wp, unfortunately that’s not the case… As I said, I already checked both the user- and site- level activation of the feature and they are ok.
So, it’s something else which is not working, and I have no idea what it is ??

@andreabrundo Please check the browser console for JavaScript errors.

How to find JavaScript errors with your browsers console?

@amboutwe, something strange happened when I followed your hints O.o

Loading the page with the console active, an error was actually signaled.
Instead of copying the error (my mistake), I tried to load a working page from another subsite of the network and check the differences. As expected, everything worked fine.
Then I went back to the subsite/page which generated the error and…

    It was fixed.

Everything I did I had already done many other times, the only difference was activating the console.
I waited some time and rechecked loading the page with the error, but it really seems fixed.

Now, I’m glad I solved my issue, but I’m sorry I cannot provide further details on what the issue was and what fixed it.
All I remember is that the error cited some “Yoast something” which was not set.

    Thanks for your support!

    It came back again!
Here’s the screen cap of the console showing the JS error:

Can you please make sure you’re running the latest version of WordPress 4.8 and Yoast SEO 5.0.1?

If you’re already up-to-date and the problem persists, it may be caused by a plugin or theme conflict. The fastest way to rule out conflicts is to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Seventeen. If this resolves the issue, you have a conflict and should activate one plugin at a time until you locate the conflict. Finally, after all plugins are active, switch to your theme. This will narrow down the conflict to a specific plugin or a theme conflict.

If you are unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we wrote a small guide that will walk you through the steps. You can find it here: How to Check For Plugin Conflicts
