• hey all. I’m a decent designer + xhtml/css coder but very new to CMS.

    I’ve designed and coded a site it’s uploaded at:
    https://anothera.net/v2/mockup/index.html

    and I have attempted to use wordpress with it here:
    https://anothera.net/v2/

    what im having trouble with is that I have no idea how to insert posts under News and Archive headings. And also the Tags and Popular headings on the sidebar.

    Also how i coded it is like – i broke it to 4 pieces, header.php, index.php, sidebar.php and footer.php. for the index, I only want these Exhibition/news/archives specifically for the Home page. I left all of that code in the index.php. Is that the right thing to do? For eg. I wouldnt want Exhibitions for the Artists page.

    Another thing is the fonts… For example I tried to change the <h1 class=”storytitle”>” rel=”bookmark”><?php the_title(); ?></h1>
    to H1 which is set on my stylesheet as having 16px font, but it does not change at all.

    Ive searched a lot of tutorials, and tried to go through it but frankly its too much reading when I only need help with these things. Plus the help on the official wordpress site is pretty confusing.

    Cheers for any help!!
    -Cixxy.
