• Hi all,

I’ve setup UM with Divi theme and everything was working OK until I created a new member role of ‘venue’.

I setup the ‘venue’ registration form and assigned it to the role ‘venue’. I then did the same with the ‘venue’ profile form. I then added the venue profile form shortcode [ultimatemember form_id=3212] to the default ‘user’ page in a Divi builder text block:

    [ultimatemember form_id=7]
    [ultimatemember form_id=3212]

I can register a venue but when it loads the resulting profile page both the default member info and the custom venue info are displayed on the same page.

It says in the UM documentation that:
If your site has several roles you simply add every profile shortcode to the user page.
so I can’t see what I’m doing wrong.

As i mentioned above everything has been working OK with the standard member role.

    Thanks in advance.

Just figured out where I was going wrong.

I had to edit the default ‘user’ profile form to make this profile role-specific and set it to ‘member’ instead of the default ‘all roles’! Now only the specific role info appears on the profile page instead of the multiple version I was getting before.

As far as I’m aware this isn’t mentioned in the documentation.

I really like the UM plugin and I know that as it’s free it might be ungrateful to moan about the documentation but some time spent by the developers on comprehensive documentation and video tutorials would surely reduce the support levels needed and encourage users to pay for the upgrades.
