• JUST found out from a client that they haven’t received any messages since April 26th. I installed the plugin on April 26th, tested to verify the form was still submitting, it was still submitting but it was only submitting in that after clicking submit you would be taken to a successful confirmation, but otherwise no gravity forms entry would be stored in the database at all.

ONLY after deactivating the plugin have any gravity forms entries been recorded.

I’m unaware of any way to recover any of the messages which are apparently just GONE.. and even worse is that everyone who submitted the form totally thinks their message was received and they’re just not worth a response.

I’m dead. unless someone knows some witchcraft / magic to recover messages stored elsewhere on the server.

PS: it’s really rare that I ever leave a review even hinting at negative, but this is a baaaad situation.

  • Just to note on this one, I noticed a lot of entries with GF forms were being marked as spam with this plugin activated. When looking in the Entries tab under Forms in WP Admin, the entries weren’t there either, however looking in the ******_rg_lead_detail table in the database the entries were there. So it might mean that no data is lost, just that you might have to go through the pain of querying the DB to get all the entries out.
