    Hello,
Is it possible to backup, upload the backup to SFTP and then delete the backup locally? I don’t want to keep backups on my website server.

    Thank you

  • In XCloner Settings there is an area for Cleanup Settings from where you can set how to delete older backups.

    Hope it helps

I don’t want to keep any backups locally. In scheduled backups, I selected to send the backup to my remote server. Will it save the backup locally too?

You could try and set the “Cleanup by Capacity(MB)” option to 1MB or less, I am guessing that would be less than your generated backup, after the backup is created and transferred to remote storage, it will get deleted as it will match up that rule.

Please note, in case of a failed transfer to remote, the backup will still get deleted, so this would leave your site with no backups, i would advise to still keep a minimum of one backup on the local storage.
