Delete a tag from a specific post

Hello,

Could you please anyone tell if there is a predefined function for deleting a tag from a specific post without unckecking it from the Edit Post page.

There is the wp_delete_term() function but with it the tag will be deleted from all the posts it exists.

Is there another function?
