Feedback on limitation on free version
-
Hi there, I’ve been holding up waiting for a solution like this. And I read the other thread about not wanting to be like CLEF which was not sustainable.
But when you put how many sites an app can log into, that puts limit on the user, not site Admin/owner which I think is a bad approach. Because if this app gets popular and I like to visit 10 different sites who use your app, it will then cause issues, right?
You said on your description, not to leave you bad feedback instead talk to you so here’s what I think you should do.
FREE Version – Unlimited Sites / 5 Keyy user PER SITE / Role based KEYY requirement
With term like above, USERS will be off the hooks / won’t need to worry while site owners will need to pay if they have more than 5 users who need to user keyy which I think is very fair. Just fyi, I do WP mainly for fun but have couple clients too. But I have 7 personal sites (not all updated but still) + 3 test sites… All of them just 1 user (myself) and logs in once per week if that. And I have few client sites, where I have over 5 users… rest just have 2 users (myself & client)
Just wanted to share my perspective that I’d be happy to pay for those sites for clients with 5 users but I won’t be happy paying for 10 personal / testing sites….
And I noticed you only allow role based requirement on paid version and this really should be on free version as well in order for site admin to control who needs to be on the keyy, otherwise, it defeats purpose of having keyy if someone (admin or editor) decided to be lazy & not get keyy.
Just my 2 cents. Good luck guys! ??
