Cant replace highlight images on home page

    I went into the admin and tried to change the Highlight images on the Home page, but for some reason when I went on the specific highlight admin and tried to upload a new featured image (which is how it works) it would not refresh with the new image. I then tried to delete the existing image and try to upload a new image fresh, but that did not work and left the home page with a blank space where the highlight image link would normally be. So I had to disable the highlight function on the home page altogether.

    I use the same theme on this site https://ballyfinac.com/ – you can see the 4 highlight image links there under the slider on the home page

    I have had issues with this theme in the past, but I got them sorted thanks to people on here. The theme is called Adapt by WP Explorer, but the administrator does not seem to be answering anyone anymore.

    @thesquid1040 You helped me out the last time and maybe you have come across this as well – or maybe its just time to ditch the theme altogether. It could be an update thing as the theme seems to have recent changelogs but they are not coming up on my site as an update option.

    Could it be a cache thing as well?

    Anyone got any ideas

  • This would seem to be controlled by your theme. Unfortunately, as you appear to be using a non-WPORG theme, you will need to seek support from the theme’s developers – paid or otherwise. Your best bet is always your product’s developer, so we encourage you to use the official support venues, as it allows the developers to be aware of issues with their code and gives back to the community in a more robust way.
