MENU BAR Dilemma: Displays all the published pages

Murphy’s Law I added the very last page that I needed to publich on the site, and when I published it, all of a sudden the menu bar included a ton of other pages that were not there before. In as much as these pages were properly placed under their parent, I have no idea what happened.

I tried to fix this by deleting the child pages of the main menu, but that did not fix the problem.

Any idea what’s wrong?
