I really love this plugin, worked perfectly with version 4.7.x
However after upgrade to WP 4,8, the css of the WP admin pages was not visible anymore. I have a WP multisite install with subdomains. On each subdomain a different SSL certificate is installed. It worked perfectly until the upgrade. Once I deleted this plugin, the .css of the Admin pages was working again. Hope you have a solution for this.

    Hi,

I just tried several websites, including one multisite with 4.8, and really simple ssl, but couldn’t find anything. Can you tell something more about the issue?
Like what the url is that is not loading? Are these core wordpress stylesheets?

    Hi Rogier,

Many thanks for your response. Yes indeed they are the core wordpress stylesheets. I could send you a screenprint seprately vai your website. Sorry to say after I removed the Really Simple SSL plugin, the problem was solved.

We are in the middle of adding SSL certificates to the subdomeins at our sites and I really miss yuor plugin. it worked like a charm. So hope you can help me!

    Many thanks in advance,

    Could you send me your
    -debug log

-screenshot of the console with the issues

    to https://really-simple-ssl.com/support?

Then I’ll check if I can find anything.

Do you have your multisite per site SSL activated? Possibly the issue is related to some sites not being on SSL?

For anyone having this issue, a fix has been committed to
    https://github.com/rlankhorst/really-simple-ssl

In about 4 weeks it will be released on WordPress

Hi @rogierlankhorst, I manually added the latest from github, but I still continue to have the no-css-in-multisite-wp issue. Thoughts?

Looking at the html shows that everything is https://

And yes, some domains are https:// and some (the main) are https://

    Thanks.

Oh, and it broke my site, ha. I removed it. I guess the only option is to wait 4 weeks? – Thanks.

Yes, you’re right. There was a wp_api_request check but the function didn’t exist yet. I’ve fixed that particular issue.

In your case it should be enough to update only one file: class_multisite.php, could you try that?

    Thanks @rogierlankhorst.

I manually updated that class_multisite.php and it didn’t seem to change anything. Not sure if there is anything else to do / some config that needs to happen in the admin? / to make sure the plugin is working as it should?

Looks like the admin style being called is still non-ssl:
    https://MyDomain.com/wp-admin/load-styles.php?c=1&…

    Thanks.

The domain this stylesheet is called from, is the home_url and site_url for that site http or https?

Currently, it is setup so the url will return a http url if the site_url is http.
