    Hello bnfw!

I am trying you plugin but cannot get in your website.
are you still progressing this plugin?

    and another question

can i sent notification that are based on a specific custom field ?

    what i mean is:
user role 1: have a possibility to publish a post with a custom field country
user role 2: have a custom field called country in his profile.

what i want is the post to be published only to those who are in the selected country that the user role 1 is selected from his post.

    Hi @bigshow,
    Thanks for your message.

Just tweeted about the site: https://twitter.com/_bnfw/status/874267891608236032
It’s currently going through a major hosting migration. Hoping it won’t be much longer.

You can trigger a notification to be sent when a custom field in a post is updated using the Custom Fields add-on but there isn’t a way to ‘match’ it to user meta.

An alternative suggestion is to add users to a user role with a country name and send a notification to those users instead. You should be able to do this programatically too.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,
    Jack

    Hello Again!

    The site is up ??

    Hi @bigshow,

You should be able to do, yes. Just be aware that the Profile Builder or Restrict Content Pro plugins aren’t compatible with the “Lost Password – For User” notifications as they override the way the password reset happens in WordPress and are adding their own custom implementations.

If you have any other questions regarding the Custom Fields add-on, please get in touch via the contact form here.

Providing this is ok, you should be fine.

    Thanks,
    Jack
