Ambiguous error while adding site

The code went away and a message flashed stating that the token had expired and a new one was being generated. I tried scanning the new code when it appeared, but got the same messages as before.

We will get this looked at. Our hard-working Android developer is having a well-earned day off tomorrow, so it may not be until next week. I may be able to look at some of our debug logs. Can you refresh your Keyy page on the WP site, try again, and then note the exact time for me if it fails again?

I tried and got the same failure at 0759 Central Standard time at dev.earthsfriends.com

Okay. I tried another site and it registered just fine.

Is it possible this will not work with a site that is behind basic httpd authentication?

Yes that’s right, a site behind basic http authentication is not supported at the moment.

The next upcoming release (presently undergoing a final set of tests) should support this. You can expect to see it live shortly. This would be version 1.0.3

Quick update: This is now live, sites behind basic http auth should be able to connect with Keyy.

Also…. if you had a username beginning with a number, then you’ll need to update Keyy to the current version, as there was also an issue with that.

I’ll mark this thread as resolved now, as it seems like current releases have addressed all the issues. Please do open a new thread if you’re still having trouble.
