Plug-In Won’t Activate

    My “Hustle” pop up plug-in won’t activate the “pop-up” function. I click active and it turns on, but when I refresh the page it goes back to “off” and when I check my website, it doesn’t show up. I am even using a theme approved by WordPress, so I don’t see the issue. Thank you for your help.

  • Thank you for using Hustle. It may be a conflict with another plugin. To test you can deactivate all of your other plugins and see if this resolves the issue. If Hustle begins functioning properly, reactivate the plugins one at a time until the issue returns. This will give us a starting point for resolving the issue.

    You can check the theme by temporarily activating the Twenty Seventeen theme and seeing if that resolves the issue. If the issue is not resolved please send your URL so we can take a closer look.

    Hi, deactivating my other plugins and changing the theme to twenty seventeen didn’t make a difference. You can have a look at agentplus.ca

    Can you please start a new thread per forum rules and we can investigate it further for you there.
    You can include some more info by opening a console on Custom Content page to see if any errors show up.

    Also, you can enable debug log in your wp-config.php file (located in root WP folder) by replacing define(‘WP_DEBUG’, false); with this code:

    define('WP_DEBUG', true);
define('WP_DEBUG_LOG', true);
define('WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', false);
@ini_set( 'display_errors', 0 );

    Activate popup and if there are any errors this should create debug.log file in your wp-content folder that could tell us what is going on.
