Change Publish Date not showing

  • Hello all, I am stumped and hope someone can help me out.

    A little while back the ability to publish at a different date & time disappeared for me. On the write post, next to publish immediately i click edit and the area to edit the post does not pop open like usual, this happened to me in my old 2.6.1, .3, and even in the upgraded 2.7RC1, What am I missing?

    More info, The problem persists after removing all the core wp files and replacing them with fresh ones from the site.

    Ok, more info, I’ve narrowed it down to the theme, Royale 1.5.1, When I go back to the default theme, the change publish date and other items work as normal.

    Anyone have any idea why a theme would stop some of the basics on the admin side?
