JoomSport sport league management supports matches where only two participants play in one match so i believe it is not what you need.

At the same time i’m glad to say that we are developing product just exactly as you are looking for. It will be called JoomSport Achievements and can be used for such sports as swimming, fishing, athletics, gymnastics, racing, biathlon and other sports where many single players compete each other in single attempt, collect some points and this lead to ranking. At this stage we have completed first alfa version testing and expect it to be fixed aprx within 5-10 days. It is finally tested, fixed and we are planning to submit it to wordpress plugin team on Monday. It will be free plugin from the very beginning, we might think of creation of paid version if it gets popular.
