• When the site loads on mobile device, the header text is too large and breaks into separate lines. The background image stays at desktop size and is cut off on the sides. (On desktop it’s a video header – is that set to not display on mobile devices?
I thought the theme was responsive – doesn’t that mean the text size is changed based on screen size? Is there a setting I can alter or CSS I can add to display based on screen size?
Thanks in advance for your help!

  • Hi @geekgoddess,

Can you, please, give me a link to the site so I can take a look?

The text size is smaller on mobile but depending on the length of your text it can go on several lines on small screens.

However, the background image being cut off on the sides sound like a bug so I would be happy to take a look at your site and investigate.

Hi, i was wondering how we can stop the text on the menu to go on several lines ? Or just triggering the phone menu sooner since we can’t modify it with media queries. thanks love the theme

try and go to https://nielsensolutions.dk, and have it render in mobile format, you can see that the company name Nielsen and soluitions get overlapped.

Also I think the text for the header stays the same when and gets very large, it would be good to have a bit smaller text when it renders on the mobile, or alternatively an option to reduce the fontsize for mobile rendering

    Hi @horearadu,

Can I email it or send it privately? It’s still under construction until I finish tidying it up and it’s on an IP address until I redirect the domain name.

    Thanks!

Hi – any chance I can email the site address? Thanks!

    Hi @geekgoddess,

Yes. Please email me at [email protected] and I’ll take a look.

    Hi @omnislash63,

I’m glad you like the theme!

Currently we don’t have an option to trigger the mobile menu on a larger screen. But this is a good feature idea and we’ll look into it.

Another solution would be to use a smaller font, letter spacing etc. We’ll have options to control these in the pro version.

    Hi @larsnielsen,

I think there is an issue with the logo text line height there (probably a bug in the theme). We’ll look into it and we’ll fix it in the next update.

In the PRO version we’ll also have options to control font sizes on both desktop and mobile.
