BuddyPress User blog vs Social Articles plugin

    Dear team, I purchased BuddyPress User Blog plugin and now I have two seemingly same plugins installed. Buddyboss blog and social articles. I don’t really see any difference between the two. Can you please help me clarify if there is any difference between buddypress user blog and social articles? BuddyBoss costed me 40 dollars and after checking these two it seems to me that social articles has all the features as buddyboss. Is your free plugin lacking anything to paid buddypress user blog plugin?

  • Just a note — other users steal code and flipped it as their own, and then either give it away for free for name recognition and offer other plugins for sale, else they flip code and offer so-called support if you purchase plugin. For example, Buddydev developed a Buddypress Profile Background Image plugin for free years ago. Then SeventhQueen literally stole the code (it’s literally the same code, line for line) with their Buddypress Cover Photo plugin. So, yeah its very possible one stole from the other, because they both offer services you can buy and I haven’t investigated the history of these plugins, though I admit — Social Articles is pretty freak awesome! ??

    Hi there! I think that the difference is that “BuddyPress User blog” works with independent blogs for each users. BuddyPress has that funcionality but it doesn’t have a front end approach. Social Articles works with the core WP blog. The idea is create a community blog. So, in conclusion:
    -Social Articles-> Community blog
    -BuddyPress User blog -> Individual blog for each user

    Am i right?
