• So there’s this WordPress autoembed feature I’m sure you all know about: put a YouTube URL on it’s own line, and WordPress will “autoembed” the video, responsively, in your post.

    And FeedWordPress, one of my all-time favorite great plugins that I’ve used for years, breaks it.

    Just to confirm, I set up an empty site using Twenty Sixteen theme, disabled all plugins. YouTube videos autoembed just fine. Install and activate FeedWordPress, and YouTube embeds, which still show on the edit post page, now just show a single URL on the front end.

    Can anyone offer any suggestions?

  • I’ve got the same problem and didn’t find any solution: so a big +1 from me. Would be really great to aggregate YouTube-content as well!
