Facebook doesn’t retrieve featured image

    Hi thanks for letting me know. I think facebook can’t find the featured images because the they’re displayed as ”background images”. Not sure this can be changed just yet though, since ie and edge doesn’t support the alternative (object-fit) for the moment.

    But good you found a plugin! It’s usually best to have some open graph data anyway or it’s always a gamble which images and content will be picked. Btw most seo plugins today also already sets this automatically, like for instance yoast seo, seo ultimate and also jetpack.

    You mean yoast, etc., write out open graph data into page source?
