Can’t edit Privacy tab in Account

  • When a user tries to edit privacy or show/hide their profile in member directory, the options don’t stick. Nothing in the Privacy tab can be changed by the user.

    I’ve spent a lot of time searching for this problem, but no solution found yet. I am using Ultimate Member version 1.3.84. The user role is set to allow changes to their Profile, but I cannot find any such setting for editing “Account,” if such setting exists.

    Thanks for the link. Unfortunately, with this release the problem still exists. I am uploading two screenshots; 1) changing privacy options, and 2) success message showing options reverted back to original settings (not changed). I have confirmed the options did not change when I logged in as another user and could still see the first user’s profile who wanted to remain private.

    By the way, I would be willing to contribute or pay for an extension that would address the following:

    1. Allow admin to change privacy settings for all members at once, including membership directory inclusion.
    2. The addition of a form field that would allow members to pre-select their privacy settings upon sign-up and inclusion in the membership directory.
    3. Allow members to adjust their privacy settings and membership directory inclusion at any time.
