ajax -vs- URL parameter

Hello, I like the Ajax Dropdown plugin. I can’t find any other this good. My only problem is when I try to load using Ajax settings it won’t load my Visual Composer Shortcodes it only shows the shortcodes with images. But it does load using URL parameter settings. Of course, it is a little slower at loading. Inline doesn’t work at all I just get error 404. Do you have any advice how to make Ajax load correctly with a page that has visual composer shortcodes using the Ajax settings? Thank you.
