    Hi, I am having trouble with an unresponsive main menu when viewing on a mobile. I have removed plugins, reloaded the theme, cleared the cache etc and yet still the menu is unresponsive when viewed on a mobile.
    When I switch to the 2017 theme the menu is responsive on a mobile. However this theme style does not work for me and I love all the other features and style of GeneratePress. I had planned to buy the pro version of this but need to fix this issue otherwise it won’t work as a theme for me.

    Any suggestions?
    Thanks

    Hi there,

    I see lots of errors related to Colorbox. Is this a plugin you are using?

    Let me know.

    No @leohsiang not using that unless its hidden within another plugin…

    The plugins that are active are:

    LearnDash LMS
    LearnDash Course Grid
    Elementor
    Page Template for Elementor
    Restrict Content
    Reveal IDs
    Theme My Login
    WP Achievements
    Uncanny LearnDash Toolkit
    Google Doc Embedder
    Content Aware Sidebars
    Insert or Embed Articulate Content WP Trial

    Looks like it’s coming from this plugin: Insert or Embed Articulate Content WP Trial

    Can you try deactivating it?

    SUCCESS!!!! Thankyou @leohsiang

    I will look for an alternative plugin if I end up needing to embed content – but at the moment I wasn’t using that functionality.

    Thats awesome – thanks so much Leo

    Glad I could help ??

    I have a similar situation with the menu responding in mobile view and in the tablet view, the header completely disappears. I don’t have the pro version. any help on this would help a lot

    thanks!

    Mobile menu not responding? Can you try #1 on this page?
    https://docs.generatepress.com/article/debugging-tips/

    Ok. so it looks like it’s the elementor plug-in I have pro which that one works but when the other elementor plug-in is activated I lose mobile menu function.

    Hmm Elementor should be completely compatible with GP as far as I understand.

    Which Elementor plugin is causing the trouble?

    Yea weird. so it’s not the elementor pro but just elementor version 1.4.9

    Could this be the reason why my headers are not responding?

    function elementor_fail_php_version() {
    $message = esc_html__( ‘Elementor requires PHP version 5.4+, plugin is currently NOT ACTIVE.’, ‘elementor’ );
    $html_message = sprintf( ‘<div class=”error”>%s</div>’, wpautop( $message ) );
    echo wp_kses_post( $html_message );
    }

    I doubt it, that just shows an error message if you’re using a PHP version less than 5.4.

    The problem Im having is when I’m on my home page I lose menus in tablet and it’s nonresponsive in mobile view. when I am on a different page, in tablet view I have a menu and its responsive in mobile. it’s only on certain pages. when I deactivate elementor I have full function in tablet and mobile view.

    Can you link me to a page where it’s not working?
