Cannot Change account for remote dropbox storage

    I started using updraftplus on my brothers website and used my dropbox account. It’s filling up and now I want to change it to his dropbox account. However I cannot make it request his login info for dropbox authentication. It always defaults back to me.

    I’ve tried
    1) wiping settings
    2) deactiving/deleting updraftplus
    3) deleting the app authorization in dropbox
    4) deleting all updraft records from wp_options

    Please give me a clue about what to do next.

    Hi,

    What version of UpdraftPlus are you on?

    If your UpdraftPlus install is currently connected to Dropbox then you have two options:

    1) Go to the Dropbox settings and there should be a link to deauthenticate – click this
    2) wipe your settings

    now after you have done this select Dropbox if not already selected and press the save button at the bottom of the page, on this newest version a pop up should appear asking you to click a link to authenticate.

    Before clicking this link can you make sure your not logged in to any account on the Dropbox website, once this is confirmed click the link in UpdraftPlus

    this should now take you to Dropbox and ask you to login.

    Login with the correct account and finish the process it should now backup to the correct account.
