Major Issues W/ Search Engine Results

I am having some issues w/ my WordPress showing up on sites like Google, Yahoo!, etc. I’ve done everything I know how to do, which includes downloading a plug-in: Google XML Sitemaps

I even took it one step further, and added my website (romantictorment.com) to my Google account, which allows me to use their Google Website Tools. In this, I was able to give Google the URL, and upload to them directly my sitemap.xml. After a day or so the results came back saying “Timed Out” …..which doesnt add up because the website and files and sitemap are all up and available.

So, if I have a sitemap in place. I have a robots.txt in place. What does a blogger have to do for search engines to acknowledge his/her existence!? HELLLPPPP!
