From name in a multisite install with an smtp plugin

    Hi,

    Can I have separate “FROM” field for each user in a multisite install? For example a user running domain1.example.com could have a from email of [email protected] where as a user running domain2.example.com could have a from email of [email protected]

    The problem is I’m also using wp-mail-smtp to send out email from a remote smtp server and it has a default FROM name as well. In that case how can I configure email-subscribers plugin to have a distinct FROM field.

    @akshatjiwan,

    Firstly, when using Email Subscribers on a multisite install, you have to activate plugin per site (as explained here).

    After activating plugin per site, go to Email Subscribers -> Email Settings -> Sender Of Notifications. Set different FROM email field for each site.

    If you are sending emails from SMTP plugin, then install it on per site and set it up according to FROM email field of that site to send emails.
