https://www.pflagpdx.org has been completely blocked after submitting a form placed on a password-protected page there. The page responded fine, but the site is not serving pages. What can be done to restore site functionality?

Just did. Looks like the Caldera Forms plugin did some trashing when attempting to submit a form to email. Database appears fragile…but Caldera did get the email out before it killed the site. I am hoping at this point that we can rebuild, as most page data appears intact.

@pflagpdx That log shows you have a few situations causing infinite loops. The memory exhausted errors will not be fixed by adding more memory, doing so will make it worse. It looks like the errors are caused by BB Press and Jetpack. have you tried disabling those plugins?

This is a tricky one, that we’d be happy to help with if you opened a support ticket https://calderaforms.com/support but I would recommend disabling other plugins to make sure this is directly related to Caldera Forms first.

Hi, Josh, thanks for checking. I came across the Jetpack problem in hunting through plugins – but the site doesn’t use BBpress, so I don’t know what’s activating it. Our site was just migrated to a new ISP and apparently my old ISP had been running some old PHP that had caused problems with other migratees, and I’m waiting for a developer to check that out. The site is back at 95%, just w/o Jetpack or Caldera for now.

That the errors are coming from “known good” plugins after a Caldera transaction is rather frightening. It suggests that the chain of causation is not simple.

An infinite loop problem would describe the dying behavior of the site when I hit the submit button on our new form.
