• Hi,
I’m having problems with Editor role: when uploading an image from an editor role the uploaded image has low resolution. If the same image is uploaded using an Administrator role the quality of the image is higher.
Is that a limitation of WordPress or of the Theme?
Searching on the internet I found that some versions of WordPress don’t allow lower roles (like Author or below) to upload images, but in this case the Editor can upload, but image quality is very poor.

    Can someone help me out?

    Thanks,

    Davide

    Hi, sorry for delay.
I’m using WP version 4.7.5 with theme “Lets Blog” by ThemeGoods v1.5.

    Hi there

I’m having exact same problem i’m using WP Version 4.8.2 with Avada theme installed in a multisite (network) installation. Editor role uploads image but very poor quality. Admin role uploads image just fine … any ideas…

    Thanks

Actually just realised that it is even stranger… because even if I upgade other users to admin or even super amin status, the images are still low resolution. The only way to avoid that is if I upload image with my username …I am the “first” super admin…..

    Hi Davide(@dede85)

In case you’ ve still not found a fix, I suggest what worked for me. If you look carefully under description you’ll find a selector which let’s you choose the actual size for the photo you wish to upload, choose full size. Have a look at the screenshot below.
