    Hi,

I have been trying for some time to figure out the reason for this error and it is not typing or copying error, the api key is correct. So what is causing this error? If the plugin works, it will help me a lot.

    att

    Hi,

You have to create a new Google API project, and make the YouTube Data API v3 available (just checking it).
Then, when you create your API key, you have to set some domain names that are allowed with this key (e.g. 127.0.0.1, https://www.mydomain.com, etc).
Then, be sure that your API key looks like: AIzaFyD0aPCQjLFRbLnh4RKbVBlBgVCVSwjbFAg

Can you double check and tell me?

    Best regards,
    Enguerran

    Hi,

I created a new project and I followed the mentioned steps again, and the message persists.

I checked it on a fresh WP install, and it works. So to help you with that, you’ll need to mail me your API key, so I can check it (enguerranweiss[-at-]gmail{dot}com)

I am getting the exact error even though the API is definitely correct as I am using it on some other wordpress projects.

    Hi @foley2013,

    Thanks for reporting.

Just to be sure, which version of the plugin are you using?

If it can help you, @elder-carvalho’s tried to get videos from a particular channel by typing keywords (e.g. “My super channel”) in the query field, and choose Channel as the Query type field.

The channel and the playlist query type must have a channel id (UCOt1-IALzefRHgpll2q97ig) / playlist id (PLMC9KNkIncKtPzgY-5rmhvj7fax8fdxoj) as the value of the query field.

    Hi @foley2013,

As I’ve no answer from you, I put this thread as resolved. Feel free to open a new one if you need to.

I apologize for late response. I can definitely confirm that the settings and config are as you described but the api is still getting the API error.

    Hi @foley2013,

Then I’ll need you to send me a user/pass to your WP installation at (enguerranweiss[-at-]gmail{dot}com).

@foley2013 @danielphilips: can you tell me how (the data) you filled in “Type of query” and “Query” parameters?

    Thank You for your response!

Have tried with keyword search as well as playlist. Every time I get the same error!

    When using keywords

    query: success

    While using Playlist

    query : myplaylist id

    For Info : I’m using WordPress 4.8.1

It shouldn’t return this error, unless something is wrong with your API key. Can you give it to me (PM: enguerranweiss-at-gmail{dot}com)?

Hi, I am getting this error There is an error with your API key, it has been rejected by Google API Service. => Internal Server Error

I have double checked the API key and made sure I copied it correctly. I have set the domain in the credentials as *mydomain.com* with the proper domain set. I don’t know why this doesn’t work.

    Hi @amyboyack,

Which value for “Query type” did you choose? (Keywords, Channel or Playlist?) What keywords or channel ID or playlist ID did you search for?
