Plugin that shows a macro map on the side

    I would like a map that contains a smaller map next to it that gives a macro view (or country-wide) view of the location.

    Example:example macro map

    The user can see where in the country the location shown in the larger map is located.

    What is the technical term for the smaller map?
    Is there a WordPress plugin that can do this? I’m a total newbie.

    Unless this is a static image you won’t be able to achieve it as Google haven’t introduced that functionality.
