When I change the quantity of a product to “0”, the status of the product remains “In stock”, so it is necessary to change the status manually. This is a very serious bug!

Its maybe WooCommerce 3.0 incompatibility, but also, if you have set backorders to Allow – 0 stock quantity does not mean out of stock.

    Hi

I’m having same trouble. I don’t have backorders allowed. Any suggestions or when an update will be coming out?

    Thanks

    Flyangel,

Did you resolve this issue or are you using something else?

    Thanks

This is a very serious bug (incompatibility) …and unfortunately I can’t manually change the status in “out of stock” every time for every single product.

Meanwhile I’m using another plugin (PW WooCommerce Bulk Edit), but I hope the author can solve this incompatibility, because Stock Manager is better.

Also another plugin (WooCommerce POS) has the same incompatibility: when a product is sold via POS and its quantity arrives at “0”, the status remains “In stock”.

I think something has changed in WooCommerce 3, in the way it handles the status of the product.

I’m sorry but in my case the update does not work.
If I have a product with quantity “0” in the “Stock” column, and “In Stock” in the “Stock status” column, although I change the status in “Out of Stock” in the “Stock Status” column, the product remains available. I tried it and tried it again. The edit is not saved.

I thought it was working but after further testing it’s still to working.

    Hello

your problem is really simple – you have backorders set to Yes or Notify. In this case is product in stock.

So, you dont have change stock status to Out of stock.

    There are some scenarios https://stockmanager.toret.cz/stock-editing/

I do not use the “backorders” function, but your suggestion has led me to better analyze the problem (and to discover a possible minor bug).

Changing to “Stock Status” is saved only if the backorder column is visible.

That column was hidden (just because I did not use that feature).
