Apostrophe in photo caption not displayed properly.

I have used an apostrophe in a photo caption on the main page. When the page is displayed, the apostrophe is replaced by num code for an apostrophe. So instead of the caption including the word Souza’s, it displays
When I look at the code, this is what is shown

Do you have UTF8 as charset in the headers? In your theme’s header PHP, can you try this?
<!DOCTYPE html> <html <?php language_attributes(); ?>> <head> <meta charset="<?php bloginfo( 'charset' ); ?>" /> ... </head>The line
<meta charset="<?php bloginfo( 'charset' ); ?>" />will render as:
<meta charset="UTF-8" />This should take care of your issue. Let me know if this works.
