Missing shop template and shortcode not working

  • Hi, *Sorry for my english i am french.

    This is my problem that i try to figure out since a week…
    In my shop page https://cocondouillet.com/sample-page/boutique/ the template seem to be missing or a bug occur. Its suppose to show 4 colombs like i have set in background but it show only one and content go over each other. I dont know what i did but after searching solution for a previous problem (not being able to use woocommerce shortcode in my page buider editor), i play in my cpanel and i guess i erase something good… So i am desesperate, i really need help this problem made me waste a week already. Somebody can figure something out? Thank You really much!!! I am comming often to see if somebody wrote something. Thanks again!!

  • Your parent theme is v 1.0.1, but 1.0.2 is the latest and this is needed for WP 4.5+, see the changelog:

    This may not be the solution to this problem, but its a reasonable thing to do anyway. Mainly, updating the theme will replace any files that have been inadvertently altered or deleted.

    If you go to wp-config.wp and set:
    define('WP_DEBUG', true);
    sometimes this will show up code notices and warnings which are helpful.

    Regarding the shortcode thread, I tried that shortcode in the SiteOrigin page builder (with the “Storefront” theme) and it worked fine. I note you already tried deactivating other plugins and changed themes so I’m unable to think of something else other than a hands-on developer debug.

    I desactivate woocommerce sort ans display plugin and i manage to have the categories working but they still show un one row. It didnt change the first time i have try to desactivate it.

    I will try to find out how to update my theme thanks for that hint!

    I put define(‘WP_DEBUG’, true); in my wp-config but nothing appear.
