    Hi Raul,
I LOVE your plugin! It works very well and has helped tremendously to speed up my page loads. And I am beyond impressed at your level of support on it! I am amazed at how quickly you respond to support posts.

I am having only one problem and cannot figure out how to remedy it. I use Fast Secure Contact Form and it is not working after implementing Fast Velocity Minify.

I’ve tried excluding it’s js and that didn’t help.

What do I need to do to remedy this issue please?

    Thank you,
    LL

EDITED TO ADD: If it is easier to just recommend a different contact form that works out of the box with your plugin, that is fine too as a remedy. — Basic contact form is all we need. — Thank you!

    Hi,

Usually, I would recommend the Contact Form 7 plugin, because it’s the best… but then you would need to setup the form again.

I have installed Fast Secure Contact Form on one of my dev sites and it worked, so it could be a combination of your theme, plugins that makes things incompatible.

Does it work if you disable js processing completely on my plugin settings?
What if you exclude jquery from processing?
Are you using the defer js option?

    Hi Raul,
Thank you so much for your fast reply! You ROCK!

It does not work if I disable js processing.

By “exclude jquery from processing” do you mean excluding that plugin’s js? – ie. fscf-scripts.js — I tried that and still the form does not work.

I’ve tried it with and without deferring js and it does not work.

The form itself does load on the page, it accepts the field entries (including recpatcha) and shows the confirmation message. The only thing it doesn’t do is actually send the email.

It was working properly yesterday prior to installing the minify plugin.

    Thank you,
    LL

    Hold up!

I just disabled the minify plugin and the form is still not working.

It’s got to be related to something else.

    My apologies!!

I’ll post back to let you know.

    Thank you!

Be advised that if the problem is simply emails not being sent, (actually, emails not arriving) it can be server related. Frequently, emails are rate limited, especially if you don’t have SPF, DKIM and DMARC records on your domain name.

I suggest you to setup email via some external email account (smtp, gmail, etc) using the postman plugin. It will keep a log of the emails sent and why it failed.

Also make sure you purge your site cache (if you’re using a cache plugin).

I am on the phone with my hosting company right now. Surely this is server related.

The form did work correctly for the past few months, up until early yesterday, BUT I did make some changes to the server settings yesterday after that last working form test.

I’m not using any type of cache on the site.

    Thank you!!

My apologies for having posted thinking the sendmail problem had something to do with your plugin! It was purely coincidence that the sendmail stopped working near the same time I had installed your plugin.

We’ve not yet figured out the sendmail issue on my server. I’ll have to keep digging into that issue later on when I have more time.

In the meantime I am going to use your suggestion of setting up an external email source using Postman SMTP Mailer. Thank you for that recommendation!

Your plugin ROCKS!! And so do you!!

Your plugin makes my pages load lightning fast now in all browsers.

    Thank you!

    Hey Raul,
FYI – I have been running debug while I’m working out some other issues and I noticed some entries in the debug log for your plugin. Thought you might be interested to know.

    Here it is:

PHP Notice: Undefined variable: disable_js_minification in /var/www/vhosts/example.com/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/fast-velocity-minify/fvm.php on line 1325

Each time the notice is logged it is logged twice with the same timestamp.

    Thank you,
    LL
