Overriding assets and helpers… and some other problems

Hi,

We would like to use this plugin but we’ve got some problems.

Most important:
1. no way to override assets and helpers
2. overriding template not working from template child – please use get_stylesheet_directory() instead of get_template_directory()

These ones we could fix ourselves, if first 2 problems were not the case:
3. double autocomplete on Chrome
4. search field debounce too long
5. search request freezes the field
