any xml import plugin?

Hi,
hope this forum is fine for looking after plugins. I’ve got a local student-oriented blog and I was contacted by a job offering company with offer to advertise on my page (finally:-). They have an changing list of offers in xml format on their page and asked me to import it to sidebar on my site. I was just curious, is there any plugin working as xml parser, ideally in ajax? I’m totally new to ajax and so far all of my tests’ve failed, so I’d be gratefull for any kind of help/infos.
