How to Run the Install Script

    I am trying to install WP on my host server and I have updated the wp-config.php file and uploaded it to a subdirectory on my server. Both sets of instructions that I have say that I now need to go to https://mydomain.com/subdirectory/wp-admin/install.php. When I try to go there with the appropriate values, I get a HTTP 404 error. Any suggestions?

    Where did you upload the files?

    What is your web-root folder?

    Where are the wp-admin, wp-content, and wp-includes folders? Should be in the same folder as wp-config.php.

    SO if wp-config.php is in your web-root folder then browse to mydomain.com/wp-admin/install.php. If wp-config.php is in the blog folder, then browse to mydomain.com/wp-admin/blog/install.php.
