To dos disappear when checked as completed

  • Hi,
    I’m getting a weird behavior when a user completes a to do item.
    After hitting the checkbox, the line disappears. When I refresh the page, the previously completed lines appear again.

    I tries this using the shortcode [todochecklist]

    Can you please point me to the right direction?

    Are they actually completed if you view them in the WordPress Dashboard?

    They do get removed from view after completing, but they shouldn’t be showing up again.

    Thanks for the quick reply.
    No, they do not show as completed on the admin Dashboard. When I opened the chrome console and checked the network tab, i found out that ajax-admin for some reason is called and then my root url is called.
    I use User Role Editor Pro to manage user access to the site, maybe that’s it ?

    Do you know of any issue that could cause Ajax requests on Cleverness To-Do plugin to be compromised?

    I don’t know of anything that could cause that with it. It could be a conflict with that plugin. I don’t know why the root url would be called after the ajax call.

    Is there a way to prevent the completed tasks from disappearing? I would like the user to be able to see that have completed 3/5 etc…

    My current solution to this was to use two shortcodes. The first with completed=”0″ and a second with completed=”1″ but unfortunately the second list doesn’t update to add the task as completed automatically. It is possible by refreshing the page but that is a bad user experience IMO.
