• Hello,
    I have some difficulties in displaying categories (WP core) in permalink structure of my website. I created a custom post type, called Media with support of WP core categories.
    In the url it seems to be displayed only /%custom-post-type-name%/%postname% and NOT /%custom-post-type-name%/%custom-post-category%/%postname%.

    How can I get rid of it?

    Thank you

  • I am having a similar issue.

    I am able to get /%custom-post-type-name%/%custom-post-category%/%postname% to work for my project pages but when I set the category base it breaks the project page. So I am trying to obtain consistent URLs like:

    – mydomain.com/projects/category-name/
    (This requires the category base rewrite to add “projects” before the category name. This will work but breaks the project page below and vice versa.)

    – mydomain.com/projects/category-name/project-name

    Hope this is clear enough to follow. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    I’m not planning on adding that feature.

    * mydomain.com/projects/category-name/sub-category-name
    * mydomain.com/projects/category-name/project-name

    The URL structures conflict.
    I have not found a solution to that problem.
