Products are being deleted even after restore

  • I was alerted to missing woocommece products and upon investigation see I have lost 30+ posts from the dashboard and the db. I found a DB backup with the posts intact and restored the db. They show fine until I log in to wp-admin then they disappear from the db. I’ve disabled/deleted a number of plugins including woocommerce bulk edit, w3 total cache etc, but they keep going.

    Any ideas why/how this is happening?

    Just to add that they are literally being deleted/removed from DB and that’s without me touching any updates or performing actions. I restore the table of whole db, verify the products exist in the db and on the site, log into wp-admin and voila they disappear again from the db.
