customized items won’t add to cart

I have some items with customized information – one asks for a name, while the other asks for choices from a drop-down. After I add the information and click “Add to cart”, the page just refreshes and the item is not added to my cart. I have tested on another site I run, and it works fine. Plugin is up-to-date, wordpress is up-to-date, woocommerce plugin is up-to-date. Tried running on just the default template, and also tried shutting off all plugins besides woocommmerce and woocommerce product addons. Nothing worked.
