I don’t receive the email when i perform a database backup

The emails are received in the junk folder, why?

Hi, there are many reasons why an e-mail lands in the junk folder. This can be due to any of the following.

The mail server settings in your host.
The software used to read your e-mails locally.
The email account used to send and or receive e-mails.

The above is just an example of different reasons why this happens. Have you spoken to your host about this issue?

It is not about host, the email i use is a gmail account and i forward the emails to my outlook account. I noticed that the email in gmail is not added to the spam folder. In outlook though the emails are added into spam folder when they are forwarded from the gmail.

Thank you for reporting back. In that case you will have to make some changes your Outlook settings.

well i changed the email to the admin email and i no longer receive any emails, even in junk.

I just want to confirm something:
Are you saying that for some email addresses the plugin is successfully sending an email after a backup operation (but it goes to junk)?
And for some email addresses you are not receiving any email after a backup operation?

No, emails aren’t sending. But the backups are saved in cpanel.

Also i would suggest to add an option to make backups for htdocs file.
