Add media categories to default site search?

    Hi,

    I’m interested in adding the media categories to the default wordpress site search query. I’m developing with a theme called MH News which appears to use WP’s regular search parameters, so I can search by post and page categories as normal. I’m using a plugin called search everything, but I want to add the cats to the search by adding a custom function. Any thoughts? Thanks!

    Hi,

    Have you contacted the developer of the search everything plugin? That plugin should also search for categories attached to post_type ‘attachment’. Probably it’s not doing that at this moment.
